Workshops

We will be hosting a set of workshops on camera work, editing and script writing, throughout the year to help hone your skills. From conceiving you first character to editing you final project on professional software, Cinecam workshops will have something to offer you.

Speakers

Ever wondered how the professionals do it? Cinecam a host of well known faces in the industry to to speak at the Cambridge Union and share their expertise and experience.

Competitions

Whether you're a newbie or a pro Ciencam has a competition that will test your limits, to mention a host of prizes to pique your interest. So get keen sign up and have fun.

Script Writing

Every film starts with a single word but all films need a good script. Here we invite all Cinecam members to write and submit a screenplay by the first week of lent term and the winner, in addition to receiving a prize, will have their screenplay produced by Cinecam. The lengths of the script should be no longer than 10 minutes.

Insomnia

Hosted in conjunction with Apple, this is probably the most intensive film making experience you will ever have. 24 hours to produce, script and edit a film, how well can you cope? Small teams will be given secret instructions a camera and editing assistance, to produce their projects in the time provided. This will be followed by a screening of all entries and the winning team will be receive goodies from Apple.
